Monument Valley Scenic View

This is my watercolor painting of the famous Monument Valley, which is located on the Arizona and Utah state line. This park is a filming location for Western movies. In this painting are the West Mitten Butte, East Mitten Butte and Merrick Butte. I included a cowboy with horse on the John Ford point. Salt was used for the special effects on the rocks and mountains.
