The potoo hunting at night

This is my acrylic painting of a potoo or ghost bird hunting for insects at night. They have enormous googly yellow eyes, a huge mouth. These nocturnal birds have incredible camouflage skills resembling a tree they perch on to hunt. Potoos are found in Central and South America.
