Blue jay in the forest

This is my mixed media (watercolor and acrylic) painting of a blue jay in a forest. Blue jays are noisy, bold, aggressive, highly curious and intelligent. They have been known to sound an alarm when hawks or other dangers are near. It may occasionally impersonate the calls of raptors. Blue jays have been featured in many myths and folklore.
