South Dakota state bird and flower, the ring-necked pheasant and American pasque

This is my acrylic painting of the South Dakota state bird and flower, which are the ring-necked pheasant and American pasque. The American pasque flower is also called the May Day flower, prairie crocus, and wind flower. South Dakota was admitted to the union on November 2, 1889 as the 40th state. This painting is part of my state birds and flowers collection.
