Overlooking Crater Lake

This is my acrylic painting with a scenic view overlooking the magnificent Crater Lake. It is the deepest lake in the US. Native Americans witnessed its formation about 7,700 years ago when a violet eruption triggered the collapse of a tall peak. The volcanic crater lake is known for its deep blue water, water clarity and setting atop the Cascade Mountain Range in Oregon. Wizard Island is also shown in my painting.
