Cardinal love in the sunbeams

This is my acrylic painting of a pair of northern cardinals sitting on a branch in in the sunbeams. They are probably the most romantic bird species and they mate for life, travel together, sing before nesting and during courtship. It is often said about them, when Cardinals appear, Angels are near. Many believe seeing a cardinal is a sign that those who have passed are with us in spirit.
