Montana state bird and flower, the meadowlark and bitterroot

This is my acrylic painting of the Montana state bird and flower, the Western meadowlark and bitterroot. Montana was admitted to the union on November 8, 1889 as the 41st state. The bitterroot is a culturally significant plant for Native American tribes. This painting is part of my state bird and flower collection.
