Visitors at the rock cairns

This is my mixed media painting with watercolor and acrylics of three rock cairns at a lake. In prehistory, they were used as markers, memorials and as burial monuments. In the modern era, they are raised as landmarks, trail markers or to mark the summit of mountains.
