The Sun Sets on the Rhinoceros

I painted this watercolor with pen in recognition that the rhinos are being threatened with extinction. The western black rhino went extinct in 2011. Man must work to protect the rhinoceros. As of 2019 there remain five species of rhino: black, white, one-horned, Sumatran and Javan rhinos. World Rhino Day is September 22nd each year.
