Michigan state bird and flower, the robin and apple blossom

This is my acrylic painting of the Michigan state bird and flower, which are the American robin and apple blossom. Michigan was admitted to the union on January 26, 1837 as the 26th state. The robin is a distinctive bird with a bold orange chest and one of the first signs of spring. Apple blossoms bloom into a white or pale pink color in the spring. This painting is part of my state birds and flowers collection.
