This is my acrylic painting of the Rhode Island state bird and flower, which are the Rhode Island Red and violet. Rhode Island was admitted to the union on May 29, 1790 as the 13th state. The Rhode Island Red is one of the most famous and popular chicken breeds. This painting is part of my state birds and flowers collection.
