Brown pelican in the coastal waters

This is my acrylic painting of a brown pelican in the coastal waters. They feed by diving into the water and scooping fish with their expandable pouch. It is the state bird of Louisiana and the national bird of some countries in the Caribbean. I enjoy watching these birds while on vacation in the south.
