In a field of poppies

This is my painting of red poppy flowers in a field. I used black paper to give it extra depth in the field of flowers. Poppies are used to remember those who have given their lives in battle is because they are the flowers which grew on the battlefields after World War I ended. Poppies are often worn on Memorial Day.
