This is my painting on toned tan paper of an elephant mom being nurturing and protective of her baby. Elephant moms are some of the best moms in the animal kingdom. Female elephants often lead their heard and are known as Matriarchs. Elephants are known to develop strong bonds between family members. This painting is dedicated to Millie Starr, who is a great Mother and lover of elephants.
