Dragonfly in the Cattails

I like watching wildlife around ponds and lakes, so I painted this close-up of a dragonfly in the cattails.  I used a pearlescent paint for the shine on the dragonfly and the wings, which are best seen on the original.  I like how the wings turned out with being able to see through them to a certain extent and the shine/glare on wings in the light to make them look real.
