Great blue heron at the lake

This is my mixed media (watercolor, ink, acrylic) painting of a great blue heron poised for some prey at at a lake. I love their long black plume on the back of its head.  This is the largest heron native to North America.  I was inspired to paint this bird after seeing these beautiful creatures in person.  I added three hovering dragonflies in the background.
