Halloween pennant dragonfly

This is my mixed media painting of a Halloween pennant dragonfly. I used watercolor, acrylic and pearlescent acrylics. The Halloween part of its name comes from the colors of its wings. The pennant part of the name comes for their habit of perching on the tops of grasses where their colorful wings move in a breeze, just like a flag. I love watching dragonflies fly.
